Mulliner Heritage Paints - Celebrating 70 Years of Design at Crewe

Flying Spur V8 NEDC (combined): Fuel consumption – 11.6 l/100 km. CO2 emission - 270 g/km.*

In recognition of the recent 70th anniversary of Bentley's design department at Crewe, the Mulliner team is bringing back to life paint colours dating back to the 1930s.

Four of these timeless colours - Dove Grey, Claret, Old English White and Oxford Blue - are available to order today and add a classic touch to the new Bentley models.

Dove Grey is one of Bentley's oldest colours. It dates back to the Derby era in the 1930s and is now part of the extended colour range.

Claret was specially developed for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Jubilee Bentley. Its warm and strong tones give any vehicle the impression of solidity.

Old English White from the Mulliner range dates back to the 1950s. This classic white gives every Bentley model its timeless appeal.

Oxford Blue is one of the darkest blues in the range. First developed in the 1960s, it was reintroduced in 1998 as the colour of the Diamond Series.

In addition to these Four Timeless Shades, more than 15 other colours have been in use for 50 years. One of these unique colours can be found at Bentley's headquarters in Crewe. It is the latest addition to the press fleet, the Flying Spur V8 in Sage Green.

Flying Spur V8

The new Flying Spur V8 press car wraps itself in the exterior colour Sage Green, which dates back to the 1950s. The colour contrasts strongly with the occasional black elements, giving the model a subtle yet distinctive look.

The colour scheme of the leather upholstery has been specified with a technical carbon fiber finish, offering a modern interior.

The addition of distinctive black details, which include the iconic "Flying B" mascot, cooling fins, radiator grille trim, side window surrounds, door handles, exhaust glands and lower door and rear bumper blades, give the Flying Spur V8 its elegance and make it look sophisticated.
